Catherine was born and raised in southern California and moved to Houston in 2018 to be closer to her parents, brother, sister and nieces. She graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a degree in psychology but always knew she only wanted to work with animals. Catherine has been working as a veterinary technician since 2006 and has 2 cats named Whitney and Schoonie who she adopted together when they were 7 and 8 years old.

On her time off she enjoys surfing, fishing, playing with her nieces, pet sitting and of course lounging around with her cats. Catherine loves working with cats and has been with The Feline Medical Center since 2018.
